Supervision shaped around your practice — individually or in a small group.

Individual

A focused one-to-one space for case discussion, formulation, ethical reflection and professional development.

Group

Small-group supervision — shared learning, peer reflection and a wider range of clinical material.

Consultation

A focused, one-off space for complex, high-risk or stuck pieces of work — attending to formulation and risk.

The approach

Reflective, collaborative and appropriately challenging.

My supervision supports safe, ethical and effective practice — while strengthening your confidence, clinical reasoning, professional identity and therapeutic presence. It is informed by my work in psychotherapy, forensic mental health, psychological assessment, ethics, teaching and service leadership.

It recognises that good clinical work needs more than technical competence: emotional awareness, ethical maturity, careful judgement, and the capacity to reflect honestly on the therapeutic relationship.

I may also consider structured internships or supervised trainee opportunities from time to time — subject to governance, client safety and supervision capacity. Expressions of interest are welcome through the enquiry form.

In supervision

Formulation, process, ethics and reflective practice.

Sessions can attend to case formulation, therapeutic process, risk assessment and management, ethical decision-making, boundaries and confidentiality, rupture and repair, the use of self, and cultural and contextual factors.

Individually or in a small group, with frequency agreed around your caseload, training stage and professional requirements — always confidential, and paced to suit your practice.

“Good clinical work asks more of us than technique. Supervision is where we can think honestly about the relationship, hold our judgement up to the light, and stay steady in the difficult moments.”
